Eclectic and often whimsical mixed media artist Carole Ann Hall makes colourful paintings and small ceramic sculptures form her garden studio in Newcastle upon Tyne. Themes include earth guardianship, wellbeing, motherhood and community, often expressed in storied characters with a hopeful, humorous or optimistic outlook.
